story time?

I was talking to two of my students today after our last dismissal of the year (Woohoo!) And these two boys who have never really given me any indication of caring much one way or another about my class said, "We should have more stories next year." I asked what they meant, and they told me they really liked all the crazy stories we told about monkeys and cows and Tyson Pufs... (A really gross breakfast cereal they invented) And here I was thinking how much of a mess I made of all the story-telling attempts. What a great way to end the year. :)
